Leader of the opposition in National Assembly and Chairman Public Accounts Committees Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has alleged the government was trying to rtender the Public Accounts Committee ineffective. Bu appointing a controversial person as auditor general, the PM has damaged his reputation he allged.He has directed the PAC secretariat to kepp the sun and special committees suspended till the next meeting of PAC. He said the institution that recovered Rs 115 billion in three years cannot be subservient to the government’s agenda.
