Summary Water rises 21 feet higher in Sutlej and 85000 cusecs water is passing through Sutlej at Gandasingh.
Owing to rising water about 18 villages came under water came undr water. The inundated villages included Bakhiwand, Talwar Post, Chanda Singhwala, Basti Bangladesh, Kalanjer, Kamalpura and others.The Kasur administration has sought boats, motorboats, and staff of the civil defence department from Lahore. The administration is already transporting stranded people to safe areas.The stranded people on the other hand complain no help has reached them as yet. They said they were in dire need of medical teams and food. DCO has established the camp 18 miles away from the affected areas and has not visited the flood hit areas. Various diseases are breaking out among the affectees and they still await help.
