Summary Faouzia Wahhab said that if people voted PPP, it would support formation of new province.
The constitution gives permission to form new provinces.While talking to the media at the Multan airport, she said that manifesto committee was working for establishment of new provinces, adding that the PPP would materialise their dream and they did not need to come to the streets.She claimed that fund allocated for Southern Punjab was being spent on roads in Lahore.Nawaz Sharif has spent more than Rs 127 billion on the road leading to his residence and now his kids are busy constructing new steel mills and factories, she said.She said that President Asif Zardari has backing of the House as he had given sacrifices for democracy while Nawaz was among the people who escaped the country in the hour of trial. She said the PPP had decided to build 300 houses for the flood-affectedpeople in Sanawan, adding that she had visited the site for that purpose. Very soon President Asif Zardari would visit Southern Punjab, she added.
