Summary Assistant Registrar Supreme Court has returned petition filed against carnage in Karachi.

The petitioner Shahid Orakzai was told that no fundamental right has been encroached upon prima facia. He was told to raise the matter on some appropriate forum, reports a local news agency.It may be recalled that Shahid Orakzai had said his special note to the registrar that Sindh High Court (SHC) was unable to enforce fundamental right of protection of life in Karachi.The registrar also raised the objection that request had been made in the application for taking multidimensional steps to redress the grievances.The petitioner had sought stay order against military operation under article 245 and had prayed the defence secretary be directed that armed forces should not announce their concern about the security of Karachi.
