Malik directs Secretary Interior to cooperate with Zafar Qureshi

Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik has directed Secretary Interior to ensure that Zafar Qureshi is fully facilitated in Lahore and local Director FIA Lahore should be asked to extend full support to Zafar Qureshi in implementing the orders of Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan.Meanwhile, the Interior Minister has taken serious notice of some news items appearing in various sections of media whereby the impression has been created from the threat alerts in FIA building Lahore that it was perhaps a fake/engineered threat.According to a press note issued late Sunday, it was stated that the Minister for Interior had already ordered a JIT headed by Additional Director General FIA Islamabad with members from ISI, IB and DIG from Punjab Police to probe into this incident of threatening call in FIA building Lahore and report of JIT should be submitted within one week.
