Summary Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah said that restoration of Local Bodies System 2001 was not a mistake.
Qaim Ali Shah said if the nationals parties want to hold talks, the Sindh government is ready to discuss the issue.Pakistan People’s Party has also devised the strategy after announcement of strike and wheel jam by the nationalist parties on August 13 against restoration of Local Bodies System 2001.On one hand, the CM has given task to the ministers while, on the other hand, he called a meeting of PPP Sindh Council and directed the PPP leaders to tackle the strike.The chief minister said that there was no revolt within the party on restoration of LB system. Qaim Ali Shah added that some forces want to sabotage the reconciliation process but the Sindh government will form a local bodies system which would be accepted for the large majority.Meanwhile, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that important decisions have been taken during the Sindh council’s meeting.
