Summary Pakistan and Turkey Thursday agreed to start negotiations on a Preferential Trade Agreement.
They also agreed on talks for land links and currency exchange pacts.Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar who is on a two-day visit to Turkey held a one-on-one meeting with her Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu and later jointly chaired meetings between Turkish and Pakistani delegations.Speaking to media at joint news conference with Turkish foreign minister, she said that Pakistan valued its relationship with brotherly country and wanted to enhance these ties to the highest level.She said the both countries have agreed to start negotiations on a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) and also decided to explore the possibility of doing bilateral trade in local currencies.
