Moonis acquittal plea hearing deferred till 13th

When District and Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqeem started hearing of the case, Moonis was brought in the court under stern surveillance.Defence counsel Rai Basheer Ahmad argued that Moonis name was not in the FIR; rather he had been involved using false evidence.The learned counsel further said that that the witness included in the case against Moonis had deviated from their statements. It is enough to prove that Moonis has nothing to do with the case in which he had been involved on political basis.The lawyers had not completed their arguments that court time was over and hearing was adjourned till August 13.
