Summary PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif alleged the government was using parliament to cover up its corruption.
He further said the institutions were being used for personal gains interests.Speaking to the media, he said that parliament belongs to the entire nation and not to just the president and few individuals. He added that the country is experiencing many difficulties and government officials are not attaching any importance to the House.Earlier, PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif has expressed his sheer anger over absence of Members of the Assembly and Senate in the parliamentary party meeting urging Chief Whip Sheikh Aftab Ahmed to seek an explanation from the said members.According to sources, Nawaz Sharif arrived at the Parliamentary Party meeting on Monday morning but was stunned to see only 65 members of the PML-N from the total number of 101.Newly elected President, PML-N, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif presided over the Parliamentary Party meeting first time after becoming the Party President. During meeting a strategy was formulated of the Party keeping in view the recent clash between the government and judiciary.He opined that he wanted to see all the members present but only 65 were present urging Chief Whip of the National Assembly Sheikh Aftab Ahmed to seek an explanation from the members who were absent...He further added that negligence will not be tolerated as country was passing through the worst circumstances.
