Summary Police have cordoned off the affected area and started search operation in Malir.
Heavy contingent of police started search operation in Malir locality of Karachi on Monday morning. Five people were arrested during the operation so far from Jaffar Tayyar and Sahib Dao Goth areas. Police also recovered a TT pistol and few rounds from a person arrested during the operation.Talking to media, Senior Superintendant of Police Malir, Rao Nawaz informed that police have arrested an accused involved in firing a rocket in Malir. He said that search operation would continue in the area.Meanwhile, resident in Malir, Landhi and other areas are in state of shock and panic as situation in the areas remained tense.
