After attending a meeting regarding maintaining peace in Karachi, Sindh IG Wajid Ali Durrani told the media that many law offenders were involved in disrupting Karachi peace.He said that banned organisations, land and drug mafia was involved.The IG said that police will bring all resources to maintain law and order in Karachi.Interior Minister Rahman Malik said operation in Karachi would be launched in consultation with political parties.He said that enemies wished to disintegrate the country, igniting lingual issues.It was need of the hour to adopt a strategy for the consolidation of law and order in the city. He contended that establishment of law and order was a provincial issue.
