Summary The intermittent rain is continued in the upper and middle regions of the country.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted heavy down pour in Punjab, Sindh and Islamabad.A new monsoon air system had entered the country in the upper and middle regions of the country.During the last 24 hours maximum rain, 99 millimetre, was recorded in Islamabad while, 79 millimetre in Balakot, 51 in Lahore, 50 in Jhelum , 49 in Rawalpindi 44 in Rawlakot, and 38 millimetre of rainfall in Murree was recorded.The PMD predicted intermittent rain in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur and DG Khan. Westerly winds in the Northern Areas, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are likely to bring heavy rain with lightning and thunder in. During the last 24 hours, maximum temperature, 46 degree Celsius, was recorded in Dalbandin while 31 in Islamabad, 35 inLahore , 38 in Quetta, 35 in Karachi, 36 in Peshawar, 38 in Gilgit 22 in Murree and 37 degree Celsius was recorded in Faisalabad.
