Summary Treasury and opposition benches in the parliament differ over AJK polls results.
PML(N),Jammat-e-Islami and MQM have the stance that the federal government is involved in the rigging in the AJK elections so not only the matter might be brought to the parliament but also the apex judiciary may also be moved in this regard.Whereas PPP, ANP and JUI took the stand that the matter could neither be discussed in parliament nor it may be challenged in any Pakistani court.PML-N leader Raja Zafar-ul-Haq said that the federal government intervened in the AJK election and ragging was carried out there on extensive scale.The parliament should discuss it, while Senator Kazim Khan of PPP said it would be the interference in AJK affairs. He said that the matter regarding Kashmir is a very sensitive issue and one should be very careful about it.Senator Zahid Khan of ANP said that if anyone has objection on the AJK elections, he might go to AJK to raise his vioce at appropriate forum. He said that discussing the issue would cause harm to Kashmir cause.Professor Ibrahim Khan of JI has said that it was the past experience that the party always won the AJK polls, which had the federal government. Senator Abdul Nabi Bangash of ANP said that always the loser in election make hue and cry about the rigging.
