Summary Nine people including a 10-year-old child were shot dead in different violent incidents in Karachi.
Firing incidents as well as killings continue in Karachi despite government’s big claims of maintaining law and order.Some unknown people opened fire in Bohra Pir on the car of Advocate Mukhtar Abbas who died on the spot.Two persons including were injured in firing by unidentified people in Jona Market. They were shifted to civil hospital for medical treatment where 12-year-old Chandu succumbed to his injuries.In another incident, some unknown persons opened fire on people sitting at a tea stall in New Karach, Sector 5-D area and killed Abdul Bari while unidentified people fired bullet shots in the civil hospital surroundings and created fear in the area.Meanwhile, two people were injured in clash between two armed rival gangs in Baldia Town. Earlier, two people were shot dead as firing started in Malir, Urdu Nagar, Pak Colony and Landhi, while, two tortured bodies were found from Lines area and Mai Kolachi railway crossing.Funeral prayer of Niaz and Jamshed, who were shot dead in Malir yesterday, have also been offered.
