Summary Governor has appointed vice chancellors of two universities as row with Punjab government resolved.
The issues of appointment of vice chancellors of universities had been festering for a long time. Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah called on Governor Latif Khosa and both agreed to resolve the issue amicably. The governor has now issued notification for appointment of Prof Dr Muhammad Khaliq-ur-Rehman as VC of Government College-University and Dr Faiz-ul-Hassan as VC of University of Education, Lahore.
