Summary The court returns the PML-N petition, directing them to move the election tribunal.
The PML-N has been directed by the Azad Kashmir High Court to consult the election tribunal against polls.Earlier, PML-N has challenged Kashmir polls in LA 40, Valley 5, LA 39 Vally 4, and LA 37 Lahore. Raja Sadaqat Advocate, on behalf of the N-League, has filed the petition in AJK High Court. The petition states that AJK Election Commission has conducted the polls in violation of court’s decision.The successful candidates should be barred from taking oath, whereas in LA 37 Lahore, polls should be held after correction in the voters’ list, prays the petitioner.
