Summary Pak-India agreement on prior information of flood in Ravi, Sutluj and Jhelum has been restored.
Talking to Dunya News Water and Power Ministry’s official said that India would inform in advance on July 1 regarding flood in Ravi, Sutluj, and Jhelum.The commissioners of the Indus Water Treaty have established 24-hour monitoring centres.According to Indus Water Treaty, the treaty of prior information of flood during Monsoon inRavi, Sutluj and Jhelum is renewed every year onMay 30 but refused to hold the meeting this year due to which the agreement was also suspended.
