Summary Heavy rains filled nullahs in DG Khan while Kacha area of Jampur submerged due to embankment breach.
Several villages were submerged in Dera Ghazi Khan as the nullahs were flooded due to heavy rains on Koh-e-Suleman.Hundreds of acres of crops were devastated due to the flood. The residents of these areas started shifting to safe place on the basis of self-help.Neither local administration responded nor any official of the government visited to help the affectees.Meanwhile, a large area of Kacha submerged due to breakage of temporary embankment built on western bank of the Indus River near Sheroo in Jampur.The residents of the area have started shifting. On the other hand, water level is rising in Indus River due to flood.
