Summary Hilary said that the United States was encouraged by the talks between Pakistan and India.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said talks between the two countries could prove beneficial. She added that Pakistan need to control the terrorist activity originating from their territory.On the other hand US State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said that the United States wants to create a divide between the Taliban and the Al-Qaeda. The US wants persuade the Taliban to move away from terrorism, respect the constitution of Afghanistan and become a part of the country.
