Summary Two alleged robbers were injured by outraged citizens in Gujranwala.
Police reached the site of occurrence in time and took them in their custody. According to police, Zeshan and Saqib are real brothers and residents of Lahore. They attacked Muhammmd Shabbir and his wife when the couple was on the way by car and snatched away net cash and other valuables from their possession and managed to flee from the spot.They also shot Shabbir who received severe injuries and was admitted to hospital for treatment. On hearing the gunshots, people chased the robbers and tortured them and broke the leg one of them. Police party reached the spot and freed the robbers from angry people and shifted them to hospital.
