Summary Many secretaries in Sindh were transferred due to clash and differences with ministers.
Not only chief secretary but also secretaries for interior, education, tourism and transport could not be appointed.Dilawar Mangi, an officer of grade-19 from non-cadre group, was appointed as secretary tourism. Likewise, secretary education Naheed Durrani is on leave due to differences with senior Minister for Education Pir Mazharul Haq.In the same way, secretary transport Iqbal Bablani has been terminated due to showing contradictory opinion. Minister of Excise and Taxation Mukaish Chawla admitted in the Sindh Assembly that despite ban, two officers have been appointed on deputation in his department.Syed Aftab Shah of National Bank has been appointed as senior ITO Sukkur while Zaheer Memon of Sindh Coal Authority has been appointed as Deputy Director Excise.
