Summary Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that the government presented a people-friendly budget.
The prime minister said that despite financial crisis the government made a people-friendly budget and tried to give relieve to masses.Addressing to the clerics, journalists and political workers in the Multan Circuit House, Gilani said that hearing budget is the basic right of every citizen but the undemocratic behaviour of the opposition deprived people from their right.Extending help for flood-stricken people, the government allocated Rs 100,000 for the each flood-surviving family while the Punjab government refused to help flood-victims, Gilani added.The prime minister said that the Pakistan People’s Party would not let the Punjab government unstable.He urged the clerics to play a positive role for the elimination of the militancy.
