Summary Lawyers boycotted the courts in the Lahore sessions court against the poor security arrangements.
No lawyer appeared in the court and the judges remained in their chambers, instead of sitting in courtrooms.The number of security personnel in the sessions court building is higher than usual today but the lawyers were not convinced with the security measures taken by the government. Lahore Bar Association President Hassan Sheikh said that the lawyers would not turn up in courts until a foolproof security arrangements would be made for the court buildings.On May 28, a father and a son were shot dead in Gujrat sessions court building.
