Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry heard the petition about Hajj and Umrah Policy 2011. The petitioner’s lawyer, Azhar Siddique, told the court that the quota was distributed on political affiliation in Hajj and Umrah Policy 2011.He demanded that the court would issue a stay order against the policy.The chief justice said that the matter was sensitive in nature so a two-member bench will hear it.The formal proceedings will start from June 1.
