Summary The case challenging chief ministers eligibility as MP has been adjourned till June 7.
A bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan, in absence of Justice Javed Iqbal, heard the case. Justice Shakirullah said that it was impossible to hear the case today and all parties would be informed about the next hearing. Petitioner Shahid Orakzai said that the case was delayed without any reason and court itself should give the next date for hearing of the case. Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyer Akram Sheikh said that he doesn’t want any kind of delay in the hearing, and the court could hear the case before June 15. The court adjourned the case till June.
