Pak, China trade to be enhanced to $15 billion: PM

Summary The prime minister on Thursday said that Pak-China trade volume would be enhanced to $15 billion.

Addressing the Pak-China Forum in Beijing, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the current trade volume between the two countries was $9 billion which would be increased to $15 billion.It was agreed upon at the forum that strong political relations between the two countries should be converted into durable trade relations. The Bank of China chief also met Gilani and discussed ways and means to enhance cooperation in the banking sector.The Chinese bank announced that it would open two branches in Pakistan.
