Summary Al Qaeda has released a posthumous audio recording by Osama bin Laden posted on Jihadi websites.
In his 12 minutes audiotape, Osama bin Laden praised revolutions sweeping the Arab world. The audiotape referred to the wave of revolutions which began across the Arab world, including Egypt and Tunisia andhe accused the Arab rulers of building themselves into idols and manipulating the media to stay in power.I think that the winds of change will blow over the entire Muslim world, with permission from Allah, Osama said.Though both Osama and the West supported the protest movements in Egypt, Tunisia, Syria and elsewhere, their goals were different. The western countries hoped the protests would lead to democratic reforms in the Arab world while Bin Laden saw many Middle East governments as corrupt and hoped their collapse would lead to the establishment of the people’s governments.According to an American TV, hunt for the Al Qaeda members started on the basis of computer files found from Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad.
