According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the weather will remain hot and dry in the plain areas of the country and the temperature is expected to rise further.The weather remained hot in Sindh and Punjab on Thursday and spells of hot wind restricted people to their homes. Maximum temperature in the country, 49 Celsius, was recorded in Nurpur Thal.People increased the use of cold drinks with the increase in temperature.
