Federal Production Minister Amir Muqam resigns

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Deputy Information Secretary Mustafa Malik confirmed that he had received the resignation and he would present it to Chaudhry Shujaat by evening.Muqam had some grievance against the party leadership for not being given the desired, Water and Power Ministry. He also demanded to publicise the power sharing deal of the PML-Q and Pakistan People’s Party and gave a seven-day deadline to the party leadership to make the deal public. He had also demanded that the creation of Hazara province would be a condition to form an alliance with the PPP.Two days ago PML-Q leaders Shujaat and Mushahid Hussain had a meeting with Muqam but they could not conciliate him. Rumours were already circulating that he would resign today.
