Summary The earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was felt in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The earthquake struck at 2am on Sunday. Earthquake jolts were felt in Islamabad, Lahore, Swat, Mardan Lower Dir and its surrounding areas.Talking to Dunya News, chief meteorologist, Muhammad Riaz said that the epicentre of the earthquake was Hindukush mountain range and was 256 kilometres deep.People also came out of their houses in fear of a natural disaster.
