Peshawar: US Citizen Mark DeHaven deported to Dubai

After the arrest of American gunmen Raymond Davis, another American national Aaron Mark DeHaven was arrested on February 24 for illegal presence in the country. DeHaven tried to board a flight from Peshawar to Dubai when he was arrested as his visa had expired in October last year. Dehaven was released after a local court set a bail of Rs two million. A case against Dehaven was also pending in the court of Magistrate Qudratullah Shahab.Dehaven was due to appear in court on May 9 and upon his absence an arrest warrant was issued against him. According to sources, on May 8, DeHaven was deported from Peshawar to Dubai, from where he would travel to the US state of Virginia.
