Summary More than 80 activists presented themselves for arrest in protest.
On Saturday, the workers of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) were making arrangement for the procession in the premises of Minar-e-Pakistan. Meanwhile, police reached and stopped them to make arrangements. The Sunni Ittehad Council had announced to hold an Istehkam-e-Pakistan Sunni Conference in the premises of Minar-e-Pakistan on 17 April, to counter terrorism and create peaceful atmosphere in the country.
