Summary The MQM has never supported criminals, says MQM chief.
Talking to coordination committee, Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain said that the MQM was a peaceful party which believes in democratic struggle. He said that the MQM had never supported criminals and would not afford criminals among its ranks. He maintained that if a worker was involved in crimes, he would be quitted from the party. He stated that he would urge the government to take prompt action against criminals.He urged the party activists to keep an eye on those who were using the name of the MQM to protect their criminal activities.
