Summary President Zardari says Pakistan and Turkey are bound by strong bonds of deep friendship
President Asif Ali Zardari said that the government wanted to rectify a historical fault of ZA Bhutto’s judicial murder.Addressing a joint press conference with President Abdullah Gul of Turkey, following a round of official talks, the president said, “We do not want revenge in history. We just want that a historical wrong is corrected”.He said a visit to Turkey was just like visiting home and the two countries were bound by strong bonds of deep friendship, similarity of views and commonality of interests. He said strong trade and economic ties between the two countries would benefit the peoples of the two nations.The President expressed gratitude to the people and government of Turkey for always standing by its side and recalled the outflowing of help and assistance in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake and floods in Pakistan.
