RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s economic situation is worsening and there is a dire need for national unity to confront challenges, former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar said on Tuesday.

Addressing an election campaign rally on Fateh Jang road in NA-63 constituency, Nisar lambasted the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party.

“N-League got into trouble due to the mistakes of its leadership. I have said it before, I’ll say it again.... Seek justice instead of attacking the judiciary,” he said.

Nisar said that people should not compare his constituency with the constituencies of MNAs and ministers.

“I decided not to contest the election from the ticket of any party, but on the ticket of the people,” he said.

He said that he will tell the people what respect the voter gives to work and what is the respect of the vote.
