WAZIRABAD (Dunya News) – Former Punjab CM and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that July 13 was the darkest day in the history of the country when former prime minister and party supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz was arrested minutes after the landed at the Lahore airport.

Addressing a rally in Alipur Chattha on Tuesday, he said that a daughter was arrested in front of his father, adding that a father know the condition he goes through when his daughter is arrested in front of him.

Shehbaz said that on July 25 people will to vote for his party to put the country on path of development.

Commenting on the PPP’s government in 2013, the former Punjab CM said that there was more than 20 hours loadshedding when the PML-N came to power, adding that Nawaz Sharif eliminated loadshedding for the country.

We added 11000 megawatt of electricity in the national grid during our tenure, he added.

“The former premier provided loans of billions of rupees to the poor farmers,” he said and added if providing electricity, serving masses and loving Nawaz Sharif is terrorism then lodge cases against us.

Criticizing his political opponents, Shahbaz said that PTI chairman Imran Khan has done nothing except leveling allegations, adding that not a single hospital or university was constructed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
