Summary Latif Khosa has said that heirs of Fahim and Faizan were not pressurised to accept blood money.
Talking to the media in Lahore, the Punjab governor said that if someone had a problem with the release of Davis, he could move to court. He said that Pakistani people knew that Rs 200 million was paid as blood money to the heirs of Fahim and Faizan, who were killed by Davis. He said that Davis’ acquittal was according to the law and Sharia and the judge gave the verdict after taking consent from heirs. The governor said that neither he was an informant nor was a spy so he could not tell who paid the 200 million for Davis and where the heirs went.
