US Consulate employees arrested, released with protocol

According to police officials, the police intercepted two land cruisers with dark glasses on University Road in Peshawar and asked the drivers for legal documents. However, the foreigners refused to show the documents on which they were taken to a police station for questioning. Later, they were released with protocol.The sources said that both the vehicles were with fake number plates. They also said that police were generally informed about the movement of the US consulate vehicles and employees, but no information had been given to the police in this case.
