Summary NADRA and the ECP have been made respondents in the petition.

A senior Dunya News anchor, Mubashir Luqman, on Saturday challenged the voter lists in the Supreme Court after it was revealed that over 37 million voters found in the electoral rolls of 2007 were bogus. In his petition filed through Advocate Ali Zafar, Luqman submitted that NADRA had declared that 37 million votes out of 80 million votes found in the voter lists were bogus. He said there should be no contradiction between the voter lists of NADRA and the Election Commission of Pakistan. It may be mentioned here that Luqman had first broken the news about the bogus voter lists in his programme “Khari baat Luqman ke saath’.
