Summary PML-N leader says his party always respected judiciary
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, on Saturday said that the strike call given by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) against the Supreme Court verdict was tantamount to contempt to court.Addressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Jhagra said that the PML-N always respected the judiciary. If PPP thinks it had a share in the independence of the judiciary, it had to prove it by accepting the court verdicts.He said that money had poured in as long as the PPP legislators enjoyed ministries, but now they see only ‘lotas’ nowadays.
