Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday claimed that suicide attacks have been curtailed by 70 percent due to religious decrees (fatwas) issued by clerics.Addressing a Seerat Conference in Islamabad, he said that the government was ready to talk with ‘terrorists’, but they should have to surrender arms.He urged clerics to play their role in establishing the writ of the government and peace in the country. He said that terrorists had no religion, adding that most of terrorists had fled from their training camps. Malik urged the members of Wafaqul Madaris to form a committee to negotiate with terrorists.
