Summary Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said on Sunday that the government would not take any decision against the interest of the country in Raymond Davis case.
Addressing senior journalists and editors, the prime minister said that it was the prerogative of parliament to amend the constitution.He said that all major national institutions were being revamped which would leave a positive impact on the national economy. He said that all political and religious parties would be taken into confidence on the national issues.The prime minister said that the policy of reconciliation had played a vital role in creating political harmony in the country and it helped pass the 18th and 19th amendments of the constitution, and the NFC Award.
