Summary Unidentified armed men shot dead two persons including Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Madni in Karachi on Saturday night.
According to police, unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Madni and his driver at Al-Hamad chowk New Karachi. Maulana Ahmed was the step-brother of late Maulana Azam Tariq and he was the founder of Jamia Mehmoodia. According to police, the driver also opened fire in self-defence.Dead bodies of Mulana Ahmed and his driver have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Police heve recovered 2 TT pistol and 8 used bullets from Maulana’s car. Police have started search operation of the area.
