Summary MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that equal rights would be given to minorities and the protection of their lives, properties and religious places was the responsibility of the government.
During a telephonic conversation with Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Altaf Hussain said that collective efforts should be made to overcome terrorism and extremism from the country. He urged to promote harmony among all sectarian. Rehman Malik said that extremists were destabilising the country and to end the terrorism from the country was the responsibility of every citizen. He said that the PPP-led government was working with the collaboration of all political parties to control the law and order situation of the country.
