Summary The Unification Bloc of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has decided to extend unconditional support to the PML-Nawaz and refused to become part of the Punjab cabinet, announced Dr Tahir Ali Javed, the parliamentary leader of the group, on Friday.
Talking to the media after meeting of the bloc in the Punjab Assembly, he said that the bloc’s support for the PML-N was unconditional while his bloc members would relinquish the charge of the posts already held by them.He maintained that 41 members of the bloc had reposed confidence in his leadership, adding that he had written many letters to the group annoyed with him and was still awaiting a reply. He said that majority is the authority in democracy, therefore, the decision of the majority should be respected.He said that the reference against his bloc members was illegal and unconstitutional as the decision to support the PML-N was made to end poverty in the province.
