Summary PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has announced to remove PPP ministers from Punjab Cabinet. The announcement was made in a press conference after a key party meeting in Islamabad.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said that Punjab Cabinet would be dissolved and new Cabinet would be formed soon. He said, “PML-N and PPP are no more allies in Punjab, we are now two separate parties in the province and there was no other choice but to oust PPP from Punjab.” He said that PML-N had nothing to do with Unification Block and it didn’t play any role in the formation of the block. He said that demand of mid-term elections was not against the constitution. He said that a number of agreements were signed with PPP but Zardari didn’t fulfill any promise.
