KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rival politicians have expressed shocked over the abruptly changing stances of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar.
Talking to Dunya News, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Manzoor Wassan said that Sattar behaved exactly like MQM-London leader. He maintained that it was not expected that PSP and MQM-P would part ways so soon.
Deputy speaker in Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza said that the people of Karachi want peace. ‘Time will tell how politics of Karachi will change in the coming days,” she said.
The statements came after a dramatic turn of events which led to a brief resignation stint by MQM chief Farooq Sattar and his breaking alliance with PSP.
