Summary Gas load shedding has entered fourth day in Faisalabad that ensued a loss of Rs billions.
Gas supply was suspended to the industrial units in Faisalabad on February 20. The Sui Southern Gas Company authorities said that no reduction occurred in the demand of gas as the weather remained cold in the country. The constant demand in the domestic sector has forced the SSGC to cut the supply for industries. Textile industry representatives said that the federal government had assured them a reduction in gas load shedding from the next week. They said that in past three months the industry had suffered a loss of Rs billions owing to the absence of gas.
