Summary Duty Magistrate Islamabad has handed over two tour operators and a clerk in the Ministry Of Religious Affairs to the FIA on a 3 day physical remand.
The FIA presented the accused in the court of Duty Magistrate Islamabad, Liaqat Kharal. Mustafa tour operators and agent Sattar with the help of Abdus Sami, a clerk in the Ministry of religious affairs have been accused of charging the people 32,000 rupees extra, who were going through the government’s hajj quota.Whereas the file regarding the approvals of the hajj scheme by the ministry, has been removed from the record. The court has handed over the accused to the FIA on a 3 day physical remand. The FIA is still conducting raids to arrest the tour operators and others involved in the scam.
