Summary Weather turns pleasant as heavy clouds cover Karachi for a third consecutive day with heavy rain and light rain in different parts of the city.
Karachi for the third day in a row was covered in thick clouds with heavy rains in some parts of the city as the cold weather intensified. Rain was observed in Malir, Nagan Chowrangi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Tower, Nazimabad and different parts of the city. With the roads slippery after the rain, there have been reports of motorcycles and cars being involved in accidents after skidding out of control. Along with rain, a light thunderstorm also looms over Karachi.According to the metrological department of Pakistan, due to the low air pressure in Baluchistan, there is a chance of rain in Karachi and other regions in central Sindh. Thunderstorm and rain is expected in Gilgit- Baltistan, Kashmir and northern areas of Pakistan.
